    Hi, quick followup to my query from a couple weeks ago…

    I exported the Premiere files to Mpeg-2 DVD, but for the life of me can’t figure how to burn that file onto DVD for playback on TV.

    My DVD burning software programs do not have Mpeg-2 as a source option.

    Do I need to convert the Mpeg-2 file to a different video file?

    Will this degrade the quality?

    I tried to burn the folder, and that won’t work either.

    Do I need to save as an image disc? How do I do that?

    Alternately, is there a simpler way / format to export Premiere project files for burning directly to DVD?

    Any-and-all advise will be greatly appreciated.

    You will need authoring software (such as Encore); this is distinct from DVD-burning software. DVD-video is a very specific construct of files; though you do need to start with MPEG-2 video.
