  Keyboard doesn’t start playback

  Hey all…

  Just wondering if anyone else has this random problem with CS4…

  Every so often, with no rhyme or reason, the keyboard won’t start playback on the timeline. IE, when I hit the spacebar, or the L button (which I have mapped out to be the play button), it does absolutely nothing. Sooner or later it starts working again, but I can’t replicate the problem to narrow down what makes it work and what doesn’t. The only way I can get the timeline to play is by pressing enter, which starts at the beginning of the timeline, or wherever I have the render bar set to. Sometimes, this unsticks it, sometimes it doesn’t. Anyone else come across this?

  Did you ever get a solution to this? I have the same Issue. Makes no sense. Sometimes, it’s job specific. Is it a 64 bit issue? Curious.
