    1. Create a circular mask.
    2. Copy the mask to the clipboard.
    3. Select the Position property of the layer you want to rotate
    4. Paste
    5. This will create position keyframes which are automatically set to “rove”. Just drag the end keyframe to change the timing.

    The usual way is to create a null, and rotate it. Make your animated object a child of that null, and it will orbit the rotating null and travel in a circular path.
