Premiere CS4 and P2HD AVC-Intra
Posted by Art White on November 4, 2009 at 7:06 pmDoes CS4 support AVC-Intra? I’m interested in purchasing the Panasonic HPX300 but an old article said Premiere CS4 does not support AVC-Intra but would soon. I have CS4 Master Suite.
Thanks

November 4, 2009 at 8:25 pmHi Guys…
My understanding is that Panasonic supploes a tool to batch convert this to DVCPro HD….which PPro does support and happens to be a bit more processor friendly than AVC anyway….so you should take a look at that as an option…..

November 5, 2009 at 2:39 pmI’ll be waiting for that update. I don’t have any of the P2HD equipment yet but it appears the AVC-Intra is valuable and I wanted to make sure my software could handle it.
Thanks

November 19, 2009 at 12:41 pmIf you’re on the current version (as I am) it’s very annoying to have an AVC-intra preset, but then discover it doesn’t actually work … yet. I’d rather Adobe hadn’t even mentioned it! I’m waiting for the update!

November 19, 2009 at 2:17 pmI just noticed that my last automatic update included a AVC Intra update. (a few days ago) My Panasonic Camera is due today. I wonder if this was the update that should work?
