I am transferring video from an SDHC card to Premiere Pro 4.1.
The video has a XDCAM EX codec. When I bring the video into the project it plays back with a slight jerkiness (the audio is fine). The timeline also indicates that the video needs to be rendered (with the yellow bar).

The Video Info (under the Project information) shows that both the sequence and video clips are 1920 x 1080(1.0).

I can’t figure out what is wrong.

The symptoms you describe can be caused by more than one problem, hence the equipment disclosure request, it aids anyone who might want to help in a possible diagnosis rarher than a WAG,
with the info presented I would ask if you had tryed to eliminate the problem by rendering the video
