    Please forgive me for posting this in this forum. I figured since RED files work on Premiere Pro and AE, this would be a good place to post. Not sure if anyone has experienced this. I import a RED .R3D file into After Effects CS4. The image is beautiful being sent out of my Kona3 card. The image on the viewer looks washed out and bad. When I export a quicktime out the image still looks washed out and bad. Any tips?

    Read the Red Plugin Workflow Guide that comes with the download. You probably realised that by now, right? I just thought I’d respond because it’s the sort of thing I would lose two days trying to solve because I forgot to do the obvious.
    You have to add a few lines of text to the interpretation rules file in the Support Files folder of the app. The instructions are on page 16 of the workflow guide.
