  NVIDIA Quadro CX by PNY

  I’m planning to get a new NVIDIA Quadro CX by PNY graphic card to run with adobe cs4 Premium Production to do composition in after effects and edit with adobe premiere, after that export to H.264 to make bluray disc. Anyone has ever used this card ? Pls advise me how is this card performing ?
  Cos the price is quite high, I don’t want to waste money if it’s not that good.

  After Effects previews certainly do benefit from Open GL processing. It can speed the preview rendering process considerably.

  In Photoshop, the new open GL support really makes a difference in display responsiveness as well…

  In Premiere Pro, the main advantage is the H264 encoding process.

  A solid display card also helps general UI interface activity. A solid Open GL card can speed up software windows in general by keeping more windows in memory fully drawn, avoiding the ‘redraw’ that can happen on switching between various layers of open windows… Not a big deal for many people, but UI responsiveness can contribute to productivity.
