I have a 29.97 project and need to make a fast title scroll for the credits. When I do everything default, they come out jumpy. Are there options to make it still scroll smoothly even when the ‘time’ is compressed to make it scroll fast? Think credits to a movie on tv when they need to start the next movie on time.

    Thanks

I’m seeing that in 30 fps progressive pans made from stills. I see it after the footage is compressed. I’m making h264 quicktimes. Something in the GOPs, maybe. What is you final output medium?

outputting QT Animation codec, then burning to DVD with Encore. It looks a little jumpy in premiere…then jerky on the dvd.

Make sure your fields settings are correct. If you use the wrong one you will get jerky video. It will probably be exaggerated by the MPEG compression.

I’m still at a loss as to why I’m getting it with 30fps progressive footage tho.
