Tools Disappear
I have a dual screen setup using Premier CS3; for some reason my tools disappear from the Tools panel, leaving only the pen tool. I have to put it into window mode, and then I get them back, but at some point after I have point the window back into panel mode, they disappear again. What’s up?

Hello, I have just run into this same problem. did you ever figure out how to fix it so you could get the tools back in the window?

Go to File> etc > Window^
Down to Tools >and Click on Tools and your Tools should be reinstated>Creative Craft Designs

Yes – apparently for me it was a video card thing. The tools would disappear if placed on the left screen. I moved them to the right and all was well. This also was the case when opening the Metadata dialog and a couple of other things. If you ever run across a dialog that doesn’t appear to have any info, move it to your other screen; sometimes you’ll have to resize the dialog too to make the info show up.

That is really strange but it is correct. I have the “tools” on the left screen and as soon as I move them to the right they come back. I feel a little backwards now but I’m sure I can get use to it. If not I’ll just have to go get an upgraded video card. I’ve been looking for an excuse. Thanks a lot. Bob
