I’m a new user of Premiere Pro 2 (previously using 6.5)…awesome features except for an audio issue. I can’t seem to get the crossfade transition to work. Tell me if I’m doing something wrong:

I razor both clips(audio an video) clip…add the video transition (which does work) then add the audio crossfade “Constant Power”, problem is…no fade in or fade out is audible on the pc or after i burn it to dvd.

I’ve explored a couple of possibilities:

-showing/hiding keyframes in the track, no difference. (There are no diagonal lines indicating a problem on the transition itself).

    – i read something about trimming the edges to make the transition work…not really sure how that works ..i hit ctrl T to find out and i’m not sure what to do with the resulting wave forms it shows me.

    – i can tell you that the the fade in and fade outs work…as long as the transition is at the beginning or end of the clip it works….just not between 2 clips.

Any ideas you have would be EXTREMELY helpful!
