    Hello Cows!

I recently shot a shoe-string budget training video for a friend trying to launch a new product. He wanted a warm, no-nonsense approach and asked if i could make it look ‘Film Like’.

I shot on the DVX-100A cam, using the 24p mode and was able to import it into Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 without any problems. However, once i placed the footage in a timeline and tried to render it i continually get this message: “Error compiling movie. Unknown error.” It seems to work somewhat better if i render in seconds 3 minutes in length or less.

After originally opening a 24p project, i moved onto trying a new standard DV project, but with no luck. When i click on the clips and look in the info bar, it’s telling me my footage is 29.97

    Did I capture incorrectly?

If so, what is the easiest way to correct this?

    I thought choosing a 24p project would ensure a 24p capture.

Recap would be difficult as the DVX was rented, not my own, but i’m sure i could get it again it saved me headaches in the long run.

You helps is always welcomed and appreciated!

24P (not to be confused with 24Pa) should be edited in a 29.97 (60i) timeline, because that’s how it’s captured.
