    I did a test with my HF11 AVCHD and opened clips in Premieres Media Browser which I believe doesn’t import them only lets you view them.

    I want to edit parts out of the clip before importing to save space and time but I don’t know how. While previewing this way I set an in and out imported but it still has the whole clip though with my in/out markers

    Importing video into Premiere does not duplicate the video anywhere. The audio could get “conformed” if it is not 48 Khz.

    I bought Sony HXR-NX30u and I am importing video to Adobe Primiere pro cs5. Video ok but can not hear audio. any advise please. I am new in editing world. Thanks
