  Painting on pictures

  Hi guys wandered if anyone could help; doing a title sequence and need to make it look as though some pictures are been painted on the screen so it looks like paint brushes are used to reveal the full picture. I’ve seen it loads on peoples showreels; but how do you do it? I realise you could do it with a series of masks but this would take forever, any ideas.

  you can use the same principle to achieve the effect you want
