    Hey all,

I’ve been editing a music video in PP CS3, I now want to move it to AE to add effects, however I want to be adding effects to only a few individual clips AND effects to the whole thing using an adjustment layer. Should I:
    a) Simply copy and paste all the clips over, which removes all my crossfades (of which there are many)

    or

    b) Export the whole video from PP, and single out the individual clips from the timeline and add the effects, thereby retaining my crossfades?

I’m concerned that exporting from Premiere into AE will cause quality loss. Is Source to download 1024k the best option if I choose b)?

    Thank you,

    Ryan

Instead of outputting, you can just cut and paste between apps or better yet, dynamic link between the two if you have the production suite.
