First of all I am a newbie to Premiere. My main main editor is FCP. Not a switcher, just using Premier as another tool. I have the CS4 Master Collection and was happy to have Premiere for couple of reasons. The most important one is Dynamic link with AE comps.

So, on my first project using that feature and for the life of me cant get Media Encoder to render out the timeline. Its just stops and freezes or doesn’t start encoding at all. My plan for this project was use Premiere and AE together with Dynamic Link to save time by not having to render AE comps and then place them in the timeline. Just do one final master render in Animation Codec and use that to make compressions for the web. Unfortunately, its not working and its wasting a lot of time.

Anyone ever had issues like this?

looks like am just going to export an EDL and render my AE comps and go use to FCP and Compressor. This is very frustrating. I hope there is something simple thing I am overlooking. I invested in this software to help my workflow not hinder it.

It is encoding, but some kinda bug prevents the progress bar from displaying for about 15 minutes. Check Task Manager to confirm the encoder is “working”.
