  HD- DVD (non Blu ray) Blues from CS3

  I have a 1.333 1440X1080i project I would like to export to a dvd with the high resolution settings rom CS3. Unfortunately, these settings are not available using adobe media encoder or encore. There is SD settings for Mpg2, and Blu ray DVD settings.

  I cant seem to make a custom setting with the dimensions. Is there a way around this so a non blu ray DVD can be burned with the higer resoulution project? Can I export the timeline as an avi or mpg1 and use a 3rd party program?

  I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to do, but a standard DVD is not going to playback anything else than a standard resolution.

  You can burn high def to a standard DVD using a Bluray burner and Bluray encoding, but that would only play on a Playstation, if even that.

  If you just want to export to mpeg2 (not DVD format), pick Mpeg2 instead of Mpeg2-DVD and higher definition settings will be available.
