  • Nucleo vs Open GL? Can both operate at the same time?

If I buy nucleo for AE7, and I happen to have an Open Gl2 graphics card… When rendering out comps using Nucleo, will the open gl still be used? I don’t fully understand how they work together since nucleo can use all the processors in my system, but there is only one graphics card. Do all of the processors access the graphics card? Or is the open GL feature disabled when rendering on multiple processors.

To use Nucleo you specifically tell AE to “Render with Nucleo” – technically, it bypasses the usual render process. So no, it won’t then render with OpenGL, which is a good thing, because Nucleo spreads the load between multiple CPUs. Open GL uses GPUs, of which you probably only have one.
