serious error causes premiere pro to shut down
When I go to export to encore, I get a serious error message stating that premiere needs to shut down.
Don’t know what is causing this but need help to fix it!
Im running ace mega codecs pack, which may be causing this???
please help!

Which version are you using? Are you exporting Mpeg 2 DVD from Premiere when the error occurs? What exactly does the error message say?

Im using premiere CS3 and Encore CS4 but it did it with Encore CS3 as well
Yes, It displays the message as soon as I hit settings, or as soon as I hit OK to make the DVD. I am trying to make an Mpeg-2 DVD and the message states:“Sorry, A serious error has occurred that requires Premiere pro to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project”.

Your reply is vague… There is no Settings button in the Adobe Media Encoder work flow and Premiere CS3 cannot burn a DVD or an Mpeg 2 DVD.
1. What are the properties of your source video???
2. In What application are you getting this error message??
3. Are you having Premiere or Encore do the encoding?? If Encore, what are the Properties for the intermediate file you are giving to Encore?? -
I reinstalled both Premiere And Encore and no longer am getting an Error
