  • problem: rhythmic in&out of focus when making keyframed repositioning.

    Hi,

I have filmed some shots with the panasonic agdvx100, on which I am doing “fake” traveling downs (within a matted image – fake widescreen bars over a 4:3 frame). In other words, I’m repositioning them with keyframes so they can go from A to B (like let’s say 240 to 200). The move is a slow one and once rendered, I noticed on my TV that there is a rhythmic in and out of focus effect that occurs approx. every 1/3 of a second… Is there a way around this? I suspect that the problem is because my traveling down is so slow that something can’t compensate for the effect and makes a loopy blur inside or in between the fields…

Thanks alot for your help! I really need to have these moves without this awful result.

    Pat
