Hello to everyone that came in here and want’s to learn from the Pros.

I have a big question and that is: How to create a flock of baloons that are floating on air and all the ballons are passing thru the window from bottom to up and the most important thing the baloons must interact eachother.
I try to obtain this with particles but the only particles that can let you to instance objects or other layers is trapcode particular but even that plugin do not let you to generate those kind of particles.
If there is another way to generate baloons or to create baloons using Aftereffects I will appreciate if someone could help me!
I wish to thank to all of you people because you provide a lot of help to everyone that came in here and wants to learn.
Thank you very much for support and I hope that I receive feedback from you for this task.

    Wish you all the best!

    Not Foam? (within AE)

There’s no plugin for AE that has true inter-particle collisions. That type of animation can only be achieved in 3D programs. Still, if you set up your particles e.g. with Particular to be spread far enough apart, you should get a convincing enough result without the ballons overlapping.

you don’t need to use trapcode particular to generate the particles – you can use sprites. just animate your balloon in another comp, render it out, and feed this into particular by selecting ‘Custom’ in your particles. you can set this also to select a random place in time so they aren’t all moving the same…

as for making them interact with eachother – maybe you should use particular for the main clump of balloons – then manually animate a few balloons colliding so it looks a little more real…
