Use something with better spatial algorithms than Premiere, such as AfterEffects.

    Ken,

If you are not familiar with AE, try creating extra large (at least double your screen size) titles in photoshop and import them to PPro. Then you can scale them down when placed in your timeline. From there set keyframes for scale and position where the title starts smaller and then scales up toward the screen and flies out of frame.

    Good luck,
    Fritz

Ditto on Fritz comments for Premiere. After Effects has about 300 really neat text presets for the fly-ins, buzzing bees, bounce ins, randomized letters, all the commercial goodness, I’ve been learning AE just to use those on occassion with nice results
