  How much resources does Premiere use on a mac?

  I’ve just moved over from PC to Mac on Premiere pro CS3.

  My system is an 8 core, 3.2 GHz with 16 Gigs or RAM and an Nvidia Geforce 8600 (I think) with 512 Megs of RAM.

  What I want to know is how much of my resources will Premiere pro utilize? I’d love to see all 8 cores happily churning away…

  Does anyone know?

  Also, how do I maximize performance with a Mac?
