  premiere page turn issue

  New job and new version of Premiere CS3. Trying to create a simple page turn on a title slide and the effect grabs the entire frame instead of just the text. I know I used to be able to peel away the text or object or whatever I had in that video layer without seeing black bars on the side in an earlier version of Premiere (1.5) with Matrox card but the CS3 version doesn’t let me. (I don’t have a Matrox card in the new machine Maybe that is the problem?)

  Try using the Video Effect (not transition) “Page Curl”.

  Make sure you have a graphics card with GPU, and set the GPU in Playback Settings.
