Premiere CS3 keeps not loading my audio
I opened 2 different project, one was a 1080i project, the other DVCPro 720 p. Both are loading the video fine, but all my audio linked to those videos are flat lined. No sound what so ever. What’s going on with it? I haven`t run any computer updates lately, so I can`t blame them, it just started doing this today. and its messing with my workflow of getting things done in a timely manner

Please check under “Edit” “Preferences” “Audio Hardware” “ASIO Settings”. You may have to change the order of preference of your Audio Hardware

Try deleting the audio cache files and let the program create new cache files.

I’ve got the same problem… neither of the above posts seemed to solve the problem, but if you select the source footage, select “interpret footage” and then ok, the audio should return… unfortunately Premiere seems to crash if I interpret more than about 10 clips at once, and I have thousands in my timeline… time consuming pain-in-ass of a bug.

it just recreates an empty folder and doesn’t recreate the files :\

The audio is not coming up as “missing”…just no sound?
And these are past projects? have they been trimmed in the project manager?
Has the media been moved or any directories been renamed/moved?
Are these projects both using P2 footage?
Do you have this issue with projects of any other settings?
