Encoding for DVD in Premiere Pro 1.5
About 1 year ago I began having problems with Premiere Pro 1.5 and encoding to DVD. Prior to this, a two hour video would fit on a DVD disk at the highest quality settings. Now, only about and hour and ten minutes will fit the disk. It seems as if the encoding (codec?) has changed and it is only ‘crunching’ the project like it originally did. I hope that made sense! I have tried exporting the project to movie (avi) and then encoding that. I have also tried moving the avi movie file to Encore 1.0 and letting that program turn it to DVD, but I still can’t fit 2 hours on a disk anymore. I did not change any settings prior to the problem beginning. The program seems to have a mind of its own.
Since then I have had to lower the video quality in order to get more than the hour and ten on a disc.
Any ideas what may have happened, or how I can solve this?
