Hi, I’m having a strange issue importing files into Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. When I double click the project panel (or file, import) the Import window opens up like normal with the “Files of type” drop down menu set to “all supported Media”, but only a few files show up (Illustrator files, Jpeg).

Knowing that I have quicktime, avi, bmp, etc. files in there, I can select Quicktime, or AVI, or whatever, in the drop down and then they show up. I’ve used Premiere 6.5 for years, and never had this happen. Is this a new feature, or bug? It’s not hard to deal with, just inconvenient. Seems like all supported media would mean all supported media 🙂 I suppose an easy answer is to select all files in the drop down, but I’m still curious about the seeming discrepency.

On my PCs every type is visible when choosing the default “All supported Types”… .mov, .psd .wmv .avi .mp4 to name a few, including .prproj

Thanks for your reply. It’s just strange, but I work around it. I like the new features and layout a lot.
