  Not getting audio with Premiere Pro CS3 import

  I copied VOB files from the audio of a DVD, copied to my desktop, changed the file extensions from VOB to MPG. When I just double click on the new MPG files, they open in Real Player and play like normal. When I import them into Premiere Pro CS3, all I get it the video portion and no audio. The audio folder of the DVD was empty but it didn’t make a difference when I just copied and launched, but now it does.
