I do a lot of sports highlight videos onto dvd. The problem i’m running into is that in my timeline, the audio tracks (from my music) and the video clips (from taped high school sports) appears to be sync’d up (even after rendering). Example: in a video clip where a football player is getting ready to be hit, I have the music staged to where when the hit takes place, the music has a powerful bang to it (to make the hit more exciting). When the final product is put together and saved as a file, upon reviewing the clip, the audio is a little off sync from the video. How can I fix this?

Are your audio files mp3’s or other compressed file types? If so this makes sense – and I just saw a post somewhere that eloquently explained why but I’m not going to attempt to do the same.. Convert your audio files to uncompressed wav’s before editing and you shouldn’t have any problems with them going out of sync

Most of my music comes from iTunes. Thanks Kevin, for the response. I will try your suggestion.
