    1. how can i multiple unlink the sound from the video in premiere pro cs3? creating video clips i dump the sound usualy to put music instead. i didnt find out yet how to multi-unlink all the video files from the sound files in a project. doing this one by one is surely tiring.

    2. having said that brings me to the next thing i realy got nerved about. after creating the video clip i usualy use filters (eg. 55 mm, saphire etc…) or multiple filters. in the old premiere 6.5 you could just select a blank video file (without filters) press copy and paste onto the other video files so that you would have a clear (without filters) version. how can you multiple delete filters in premiere pro cs3 without doing this one by one again.

    thanx

There is no way to unlink more than one clip at a time, however, you can select just the audio portions of multiple clips and then delete them, without ever unlinking them. Just hold down the Alt key while selecting just the audio. Then delete them.

There is no way to delete filters on multople clips. You need to change your workflow to get one clip the way you want it and then copy it’s attributes to other clips.

thanx for your immediate answers, anyway i think that premiere hats lots of weaknesses in the workflow. i am working on premiere years now and seeing where the market goes (apple and final cut) – which is a question of money also – i guess thats where we are going.

A late thank you to Steven Gotz for that answer. You have just saved me so much time. That alt selection is really cool, and much easier than just unlinking all the clips. Thank you!
