    Hey,
Sorry if this sounds stupid but when i try to export from cs3 i can only select a few different file extensions.

I tried exporting as a AVI and it was 202mb for a 9 second clip.

Does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this?
    Thanks

    Hi,

I was hoping there was a way to export in some type of file extension that wouldnt make the finished project extremely large (maybe a mpeg or something) and im not sure how i can export in these formats. any idea if it is just codecs i need to get somehow or am i just going about everything all wrong?

i was hoping to export it to dixv format, i have a usb dixv player at home and i would like to be able to make it a compressed file (alot less than the 202mb for a 9 second clip)

Sorry im really new to this so thats probably why it sounds like i have no idea at all (to be fair i pretty much dont have any idea)
