Font problem
Hi,
I am trying to create a title using a particular font (REALVIRTUE) but all I see are small rectangles.
In the font sample (the drop down list in Properties>Font Family) where the letters AaegZz are shown for each font I just see rectangles. Ditto, when I try to write something in the Title window.
Other fonts display fine. And, this font seems to work pefectly in other applications.
It’s not a system specific problem to me. I know 3 or 4 other people who have experienced exactly the same thing with the same font using both CS3 and Ppro2 (I’m using CS3 but also had the problem with Ppro2).
I don’t have much choice as to which font I suse as it is part of our company logo.
Any suggestions for workarounds?

It sounds like it’s not a true type font or adobe open type format. SO….
If you can get it to work in Photoshop make the titles there and import them into PPro.

It is a True Type font (or at least claims to be and behaves the same way in other applications).
Yes, it does work in Photoshop and that’s what we’ve used (thanks for the tip). Would be nice to have it working in PPro if we could though.
Why would it work in Photoshop and After Effects but not in Ppro I wonder?

Well I no longer feel like the Lone Ranger. I have a bunch of fonts that won’t preview or render in Premiere Pro that work in Photoshop (and lots of other apps). Did I mention that the Titler is still an awful add-in? LOL
Well whatever the case may be on the software design, the fonts still aren’t working. I found this thread after searching unsuccesfully on the Adobe Forums for an answer.
I guess I will have to make a list of them and inquire over in Adobe Forums.
