    It’s called rotoscoping. It’s not green screen or keying. It’s tracing around every single frame of video to mask out the skateboard and replace the ground and other elements that cross it’s path such as rails. Sorry my friend this will take a long time to do and to make it look as good as that clip will take time and cloning of floor, faking shadows etc – some great skills. Awesome way to learn the skills tho.

    Now, you could also achieve a similar effect with a green screen. That would take a lot of planning, also a 3D tracking application, and you’d have to shoot it all. But in my mind it sure beats sitting for a week in front of a computer screen moving masks arround 🙂
