Please tell me there is a way to recapture audio only from my previously captured clips. I certainly don’t want to go back and have to adjust video levels, chroma levels, etc for each shot. There are about 60 of them. My old edit system, discreet edit, gave me a choice of video, audio, or both during recapture.

    Any help would be appreciated.

When you batch capture you can override the settings to just audio or video or both (tick boxes).
It will proceed to capture your ‘settings’ based on the timecode/tape name.

How many editors does it take to change a light bulb?

Hmm? I’ll try that again because I did discover that process as soon as I posted the message. However, and correct me if I’m wrong, I had a choice to have Media Files Remain on Disk or have Media Files Deleted. I’ve tried both. Right before I capture, I select Audio only. The result is a new file which is a .wav file. Audio only which I guess is what I told Premier to do but that’s not what I want. I want to keep my perfectly setup video and just change out the audio portion of the clip. Am I missing a step somewhere or asking for the impossible. If it is impossible, I’d just like to know.

    Any thoughts? Much appreciated.
