  cannot move files to source monitor

  Here are my steps.

  I open my project

  I go to import and find a folder of sequenced bmps or pngs.

  I import the folder.

  Now the problem begins if I drag it to the source monitor it shows the last frame only and obviously wont play.

  If I right click and choose add to source monitor the same thing happens.

  This is obviously making it hard to edit.

  An avi works normally in the source monitor and if I drag the folder to the timeline it plays the entire series of sequenced clips.

  Please advise and thank you.

  You should not be importing the folder. You should import the first BMP and check the checkbox for a numbered sequence.
