    hello all,

I am newbie & really looking solution to my confusion.

I have captured videos in my high definition hv20 canon camera
and for doing some editing on it I have got Adobe premeire pro.

I captured the videos from camera in the pc using some other software ” pinnacle studio 11″ because of some technical problem in my laptop I cant use my adobe premeire in it.It has stored the videos in .m2v format.

now when i am usig those sequences in adobe premeire, they play quite fast as compare to normal speed.

1.did I make mistake while capturing at the first time using pinnacle
    2. Can adobe premeire can capture from hdv device

please advise me the right way out.

    manraj,
Typically, you don’t want to use Pinnacle to capture anything to bring into Premiere (it may encode a little different). Second, what version of PPRo do you have? CS3 can capture HDV from HV20 just fine except no previews. Or you can use HDVSplit to capture (Free) and import into PPro.

    Hi there Perry,
I too have a problem with using a Cannon HV 20 E video camera. I bought it last nov 07 and have not been able to capture using Premiere Pro CS3 version. Any suggestions.
    What settings do you use?
    Jude

    Judy,
“Or you can use HDVSplit to capture (Free) and import into PPro” What kind of problem are you encountering?
