I am following the tutorial from creative cow called “Text That Blows Away Like Sand” by Emanuel Eriksson. I do fine up until the point that I am entering in the “radius of new particles” setting for the “particle playground” effect that is applied to the Composition. When I put this setting in at .50 the CPU maxes out and After Effects crashes. I have tried this setting also at 50 and even 100 with the same effect. These are the settings I am putting in the “particle playground” effect. I have a Pentium 4 2.7 ghz processor with 1 gig of ram. Any ideas on how I can use this effect? Please refer to the above tutorial on this web site for further detail. Any help would be awesome.

There’s been so much discussion about this tutorial already. The quickest thing to do would be to use our search engine and search for the various past posts.
