Well, I have been using premier for quite some time, and just importing footage from my gl-2 normally, with basic settings. And I was wondering if there is any settings that will give a better quality footage?

    -Thanks in advance, Jeff

When importing DV from a camcorder you are transfering digital data from the tape, there is no way to touch it up till its in the computer, then you use the NLE to correct the footage, best way is too setup the cam properly when shooting to get the best footage out.
