  Capture DV > MPEG

  Is there any software solution out there that will capture MiniDV tapes (dvsd/dvc codec) directly into MPEG2 or better formats? One other possible solution for me is to record directly to settop DVD recorder that way to get the MPEG, but I was wondering if there is a software solution as well?

  Ulead has a direct DV->mpeg, Liquid has the capability, Main Concept also.
