How do I “freeze” action in video?

I want to have the video playing then freeze it at a specific point.

Then I’ll set that frame as a background for a green screen.
someone walks in and says something about the action then leaves at which point the videocontinues playing.

Anyone know how to do this?

With your CTI at the frame you want to freeze choose File>Export Frame. Drag the new still from your Project Window to the CTI in a superior track and stretch its’ duration as needed.
