Is it possible to move and expand a clip in Premiere?

I’ve been looking though the manual – and an old “Premiere For Dummies” book and there seem to be hints that you can do something of the sort – mentions of “tracking along a path”, and “using key-frames to start and end an animation” (under motion effects.)

So I thought maybe you could?

If you can – how do you do it?

I can add a key-frame in motion/anchor point – but when I try to add a second one further into that clip – all that happens is the 1st key-frame seems to be deleted.

You see what I wanted to do was to have the clip – which I have made small – I want it to move from the top right corner of the screen to the centre of the screen and then to expand until it fills the screen.

I’m working on a fairly old version of Adobe Premiere at college – I think it’s version 7.

(PC with windows XP Not a massively fast machine but faster than our normal 512 machines – it’s a Dell with 2 screens – other than that I don’t know much about it and it’s the weekend now so I can’t look at it, to check.)
