The Premiere Pro CS3 project I’m working on is made up of seven one-hour-long HDV video files. I’d like to create a trimmed project through the project manager where only the parts on my timeline are saved, but it doesn’t do that. It just copies all my video files whole (since all of them are referenced at least once on the timeline) and I basically end up with exact duplicate copies of my raw video – not trimmed at all. What am I doing wrong and how do I really create a trimmed project?

    BTW –
It trims my audio files like it should (chops them up into smaller subfiles) but not my mpg video files. And that’s what I want trimmed the most…
