I have video in QuickTime and I will be editing it together. When I’m done, the final will be exported to a Flash FLV file. I need to know what the best settings are. The video will only be for the web

    My QT dimmensions are 403×227

    Would my settins be:

    Desktop
    403X227
    D1/DV NTSC Widescreen 16:9 1.2

If so, I get a lot of black space when I place my QT file in it. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks,

    John

I’ve had unexpected results after rendering when my footage PAR doesn’t match the project. I’d right/control click on the footage in the Project window (Interpret Footage/Pixel Aspect Ratio) and set it to match the project (Project/Project Setting/General).
Or start a new project with a PAR that matches the footage.
If you decide to interpret the footage, use Effects/Distort/Transform to resize it, instead of Effect Controls/Motion.
    Hope this helps.
