Very nice! I’m just starting with AE, (like, today…) and I’m here looking for help as well as inspiration. I hope I have something as nice in 2 years. Very nicely done!

    I’d swear we had a showreel forum, but I can’t find it…

The reel is pretty good- the only downside I can see is that it focuses on mostly 2.5D – not entirely, but mostly. If you could get more live action or other things, that would certrianly help – becasue much of it has the same look (Same project?).

That said, again – I think it’s pretty good. You clearly demonstrate that you know how to, arrange a composition, move things around well, and play with timimg – beleive it or no that’s a huge compliment.

I noticed particleIllusion in there, btw. That’s the program that shares my #1 spot with AE.

    Take it easy,

    Aharon

i agree with Aharon. and i’d also say the weakest thing on your reel is your company logo build at the end, the second weakest your opening. i’d spend some more time on these – it’s your time to do whatever you want without clients and/or producers influencing you… and the end result says a lot about what you personally bring to your work.

open with your strongest, end with your second strongest. Not a hard and fast rule, but a good one – it stars with a bang, and leaves a good impression. Though it really helps to have a good cream filling too!

Although putting most of your best stuff at the top is another way to do it since after the first 30 seconds or so, people watching these things get bored… unless it’s really good. Like I said, no hard and fast rules.

Awesome. Great beginning for me. End was pretty rough but it was still perfect. It’s the kind of reel you never get bored to watch.

Great work, great tempo, the perfect music. I liked the lot the way you integrated the text with the music at the beginning. Amazing.

When the basket ball bounced on the floor and made appear the logo, I would of loved to see more action in the logo. Like everthinig really shakes or bounces…anyway, just suggestions 🙂

    Awesome work.
