  According to the Adobe Updater that you used to update your Premiere Pro CS3…

  The Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 3.0.1 update provides important bug fixes for encoding and decoding H.264-encoded content. Adobe strongly recommends that all users install this update to improve compatibility with H.264 content.

  There is an image posted here. Scroll down a bit and select “Show All Messages” if necessary.
