    New to PPro

I would like to do a Save As on the current sequence that I am working on so that I can have a different version or versions to look at. In my old NLE (discreet edit*) I simply did FILE>Save As>Timeline and re-named the new timeline something like Whatever V2 and that was that. A new version of the timeline was created and I could toggle between the two. I’d like to do the same with the current sequence I’m working on but it’s not real obvious to me how to do it. The book doesn’t help. The only Save As function allows you to save the entire project as something else and I don’t want to have to reload entire projects, filled with hours of footage, when all I want to do is toggle between sequences. What am I missing here?

    Any help appreciated.

Find the sequence name in the Project panel. Right Click on it and select “Duplicate”. Rename it and go from there.

I knew it had to be simple.

    Many thanks.
