  PremierePro stops on MarkIn/Mark Out

  Hi,

  Using PremierePro1.0.

  Wierd anamoly, whenever I hit Mark In or Mark Out on the program side the playback stops. I can MarkIn/Out all day on the source side and it keeps on playing but as soon as I switch to the record side it just stops although it does actually mark in at that point. Really really annoying and almost unusable. Please help. I tried restarting while holding down Ctl/Shift to trash preferences a la Premiere 6.5 but I don’t know if that even works in Prem Pro.

  Thanks for any help (and please don’t encourage me to upgrade to CS3 ;-))

  1.0 was like a Beta (for sale) for 1.5.
  2.0 and CS3 function like you want.

  Mike, are you saying this is standard functionality in PremPro 1.0? I am hard pressed to believe that as it would make quick editing very cumbersome.

  I cant speak for version 1.0. It had so many bugs that I and most folks dumped it for 1.5 which worked fairly well. I doubt very many folks still use 1.0.
