    Hey everyone
I am currently editing my family trip that we went on to Hawaii, I have a nice intro title in my head but am having problems on how to create it. I have seen all the fabulous work you have all created and thought that some of you may know how I could create my ideas.

My visions are just like the subject says “water over sand”, I would like to have a nice sandy beach background (ie: grains of sand) with some text blended in and then every few seconds a frothy wave will wash over the text, the water will cover the text for a few seconds with a few ripples in the water, and then the water will then rush out leaving a new set of words (text) left in the sand.

I would like to make this completely animated if possible, and if anyone may also be able to help me possible put some fish in the water going in and out with the water, however i think this may be a bit hard for me at this stage.

Would anyone have any ideas on how I could accomplish this?
Thanks for taking the time to read this. 🙂
    Mike

Do you have Adobe After Effects? If so, that can be accomplished quite easily by utilizing the displacement map filter. Take a look at the Adobe After Effects podcast and that should get you started.

One way is to use some footage shot a the beach if there is one near you or use stock footage for background, and add text with a little 3D program called Bluff-Titler(outerspace-software.com)
