Bad downscaling in Premiere
Hello 🙂
once again, I noticed how bad Premiere is at downscaling.
The same HD Clip downscaled in Premiere gives MUCH worse results that in After Effects. I am no expert, but has it something to do with different Algorhythms, like those you can choose in Photoshop. That “bicubic” or what it’s exact name. The worst case I’ve found is going from HD to a small podcast format. OF course for the same reasons.
Anyway, it leaves a bad feeling everytime I convert to SD for DVD or anything else in Premiere.
Is there a better solution ? Is there something in the preferences ?
Thanks!
