  Folks,
  I am very new to HD world… just exploring now, not even owning a HD Camcorder yet. I just want to know what Cam/Hardware you use to bring in / edit the footage. What final product did you use for delivery?

  I am wondering if JVC GZHD7US is worth playing around? I did some web search as well as playing with one this weekend at HHGreg at their demo. I found this Camera, in good lighting, of course is very sharp and vivid.

  Problems:
  1. Poor image stablization, especially when zoom out.
  2. Poor low light (when compare to my trusty VX2K, but is it really that bad when compare to other consumer level Camcorder?)
  3. How to edit the footage? It is saved to the 60G HD as MPEG2 file, can PPro2 or CS3 edit such in precision? It is supposed to be able to be converted to .mov format, then, would PPro2 or CS3 edit .mov better with precision?

  There is a shoot-out between the Sony, Canon, Panasonic and JVC on a popular review site.
