Everything will work fine for awhile in 1.5 but lately I’ve been getting the occasional “Can not create titler” error, then Premiere crashes, and then I can’t even quit it totally. It hangs and I can’t quit the Proccess from the Windows Task Manager so I have to do a full reboot. I’ve reinstalled, updated video drivers, etc. all the normal troubleshooting. Any suggestions?

Try recreating the Plug-in Cache file by holding down the “Shift” key when starting Ppro and keep it down till the Project screen appears, you probably will have to re-do any custom settings in the Preferences.
If that doesn’t clear it, supply your computer specs and if you have made any changes to your system lately, also have you ever set a system Restore point before the problems started? if so use it

I used to get that error when my project size got upwards of 60 plus mb. It would cause crashes on titles including the cannot create titler message and sometimes the auto save would not work so it would be a double whammy. When I kept conscious of my project sizes and trimmed the fat out of ongoing projects the problem went completely away.
